Last year we hosted 462 visitors during 15 tours of the farm! The farm is open to visitors during our public volunteer workdays and by reservation with private groups only. We are not able to accommodate walk-in visitors. Out of respect for the farmers' busy schedules, the farm is not open to the public without a scheduled visit.
We offer two free public tours every year. Public tours provide a general overview of our history, programming and agricultural practices at Transplanting Traditions. Tours generally last 45 minutes and are followed by a volunteer workday.

We offer private tours for a fee. Check out our pricing here.

We offer private tours catered to group interests, such as the refugee community, traditional plants, nonprofit structure, and sustainable agriculture. A 90-minute guided tour will take guests throughout the farm and provide an in-depth explanation of the project. Private tours are best for groups with specific interests and questions. We can accommodate a group of any size. Two weeks advance notice required for private tours, as well as a fee. Tours are available Monday- Friday. As a non-profit funding is one of the most challenging and time consuming parts of our work and all funding from tours goes directly back to sustain the project.
We always love sharing information about the project and teaching about all what we have learned running this unique project since 2010. However, we are very small staffed and request reimbursement for our staff time. As a non-profit funding is one of the most challenging and time consuming parts of our work and all funding for speaking events goes directly back to sustain the project. If you cannot find funds to pay staff to speak at your event we can try and work with you. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss other payment options.
