Finding Us

We are located at the 269 acre Elinor Irvin Nature Preserve donated to the Triangle Land Conservancy in 2007. The farm is located off of Jones Ferry Road in Chapel Hill, NC about 4 miles outside of Carrboro between Ferguson Road and Carolina Forest Road. There is a large sign that says “Elinor M. Irvin Nature Preserve and Farm” and “Transplanting Traditions Community Farm” in front of the gravel driveway that leads to the farm. The farm driveway is also directly across from “Partin Farm Trail” Rd. Once you turn onto the gravel driveway take the first fork to the left. You will see the greenhouse/processing shed and fenced-in farm directly ahead.

The address is 2912 B Jones Ferry Rd. Chapel Hill, NC 27516 but Google Maps has our location about 1/8 of a mile off. You can use it to get you in the right direction but please use written directions above for more accurate directions.

Please note that our physical address is different from our mailing address. Mailing address: PO Box 394, Carrboro, NC 27510-0807.

** Out of respect for the farmers' busy schedules, the farm is not open to the public without a scheduled visit. It is open to current CSA members and their families; CSA members please see our Visitor Guidelines before coming to the farm.**
