What's a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture is a way to build a relationship with a farmer, to be closely tied to the seasons, and to make a firm commitment to eating locally. A CSA is a vegetable subscription service in which you pay ahead of time to receive a weekly box of fresh produce. Your investment gives the farmers the capital they need to buy seeds and supplies before the start of the season. In exchange, CSA members are given top priority when it comes time to harvest. Being a member of a CSA means you understand the hard work and planning that goes into organic agriculture as well as its many risks. As a member, we hope you’ll get to share in an abundant and nourishing harvest.

How Is Our CSA Unique?

Before the farm I would go to places like Weaver Street but I cannot afford vegetables …now that I grow at the farm my refrigerator is full of vegetables…I never have to buy tomatoes because I canned so many.

What's In A Share?

A mix of familiar seasonal vegetables and Southeast Asian vegetables traditionally grown in Burma. See the vegetables we grow here.  Though not certified, all our produce is grown organically without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or fungicides.

The CSA farmers take enormous pride in packing their boxes. They carefully harvest, wash, and pack each item and always strive for the best in quality and variety. CSA members also receive a weekly newsletter with recipes, cooking tips, and news from the farm.

Hear From CSA Members!

  • “We absolutely love what being part of this CSA has done for our family. We plan meals around the vegetables in the box and try hard not to let them go bad because we know how hard our farmers have worked to grow and prepare them for us. We are so grateful!”
  • “We had a great experience this year! All of the different vegetables helped inspire us to try new recipes and cooking techniques. We eat out a lot less when we have our weekly vegetables and have become better cooks in the process.”
  • “We’ve been very impressed with the farm and the CSA team’s hard work. We’ve shared the concept with lots of friends and family members. Our cooking at home has become more enjoyable with so many new and different veggies to try.”
